Working in Partnership
It promotes a pragmatic and creative approach to working in development and engaging all stakeholders from communities and governments through to the corporate sector. We develop partnerships to ensure that all of our stakeholders are able to work towards shared goals; finding responsible solutions to their environmental and social problems. Through working in partnership with these three sectors, Living Earth has established a unique portfolio of projects that encompass environmental education, capacity building, community development, organisational development and institutional development.
We believe that a partnership must be based upon:
- Actions that are based on real, identified needs
- Shared risks in outcomes
- Mutual design in the actions
- An end result which could not be achieved by any one partner working alone
